Welcome. Today I am reviewing "Rumors of God" by Darren Whitehead & Jon Tyson. Enjoy!
Darren Whitehead & Jon Tyson, Australian friends who moved to America, have compiled this book with stories of how "Rumors of God" are still alive in our lives today. We live in such a noise-filled, over-stimulated world that often God seems distant to many, but in reality, God is still alive and well and active in our lives today. The is filled with deep theological meaning, but written in such a way that every reader can grasp the meaning and not get lost. We need to live life with a kingdom mindset and the authors show us how to walk this out, by recognizing needs and ways in which we can meet those needs in practical way. The authors use real life experiences to bring their points home. The basis of this book comes from the scripture in Habbakuk 3:2, "LORD, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy." This book is inspiring and challenging in making the reader want to live their life with a different type of faith - a kind of faith that really makes a difference.
Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the Booksneeze book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
